PRESS RELEASE

The Savannah Institute of Technology (SavannahTech), Abakaliki, is pleased to announce that the National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved the commencement of the following Undergraduate Degree Programs at the Institution from the 2020/2021 Academic Session in Affiliation with Federal University Wukari. This is resulting from Resource Assessment visit to the Institution in September 2021. The programs are:

1. B. Sc (Computer Science)  and
2. B. Sc (Business Admistration)

The Federal University Wukari was the 12 Universities established by the Federal Government in 2011. it has seven Faculties: Agriculture and Life Sciences; Education; Engineering; Humanities; Management and Social Sciences; Law; Pure and Applied Sciences and the College of Medical Sciences,

These programs will provide opportunities for us to build on our commitment to the development of the skills and competences of young men and women in information Technology and Entrepreneurship so as to have the capacity for self-reliance, wealth creation and global mobility. With Affiliation to a top Federal University and extensive global contacts, our students will have ready opportunities for collaboration with students from other parts of Nigeria and the world as well as access to the knowledge base of academic staff and resources at the parent University and other collaborating Institutions. These will deepen their experiences and potentials.

We shall deploy services that will enables students have access to information resources, anywhere, anyplace, at anytime and promote lifelong learning, Every student will have the opportunity to participate in entrepreneurial activities to promote future ambitions. these are part of our commitment to support our students to Design their Dreams and Write their Own Story!
